The 2025 Feature Film Award winner will be shown at the Village Green in Cashiers, Saturday, August 16th.
Never Not Yours, a drama short film directed by Steve Kneiss and John Klein, follows three adult siblings—Michael, Ellie, and James—who travel to their family’s remote retired cabin for a weekend visit. Although they initially arrive without a clear understanding of why they were summoned, the weekend takes a chaotic turn when their parents, Jonathan and Maddie, unexpectedly announce their divorce.
The film directors will be on hand at the PAC to discuss the film and its genesis. The film earned significant accolades at other major stops on its film festival circuit and is considered a festival favorite.
